Applying eyelash extensions for 28 years

“In a world so ever changing one thing remains unchanged the beauty ones eyes behold.” My passion began as a young Beauty Therapist taught all things but lashes. I was taught to perform beauty treatments ranging from the latest most luxurious facial, hand or body treatments, to the reliable traditional day to day upkeep treatments. All that came with a textbook of knowledge, however one thing that didn’t at that time was the word of lashes.

I endlessly spent my days crafting lashes individually. With the patience of time and trust of clients willing to allow me to design a subtle but effective change, I knew then that applying lashes would be my giving to the world…

2006 saw Lash Out Beauty come to life! It was at this time wholesale lash companies started emerging which gave me access to many more products. I endeavoured to position myself as the first salon in Sydney to stock Xtreme Lashes, a well researched eyelash range containing medical grade products.

It was then I began as an educator teaching salons in Xtreme Lashes practices, helping to certify many therapists across all states of Australia.

As a beauty therapist today performing lash extension application, it is more than just the before and after to me. It’s the ongoing attention to the health and hygiene of the eyes, the lashes, as well as the uniqueness of each lash design application.

I pride myself on my Eyelash Correction Treatment that is about repairing incorrect eyelash extension applications. My methodical cleansing and preparation practises ensures the lashes I apply have a long lifespan. I also know how to create an effect through individually applying different lash lengths, thickness and choosing a curve to highlight, not take away from the shape of the eye.

This is a passion I will continue to love as well as striving for that perfect application that keeps people guessing are they real or aren’t they.
